Open for Receiving with Rose

Lie on your back, bring the soles of your feet together, let your legs open and rest on the surface where you are lying.

Close your eyes, take 3 deep breaths, and start breathing slow – evenly, gently, in your own rhythm.

Imagine a rose bush, where there is a bud that has just popped out. You can already see her colour, but the petals have not yet opened to the world.

Up in the blue sky, the Sun is shining bright, Spreading its rays over the rose, bathing her in light. This light is soft, velvety, and warming. The rose is feeling safe – the nourishing light embraces her.

Thanks to the gentle caress of the sunbeams, the petals start to move almost unnoticeably, they start to open. They do so very slowly and tenderly, and receive the warm, velvety rays of the Sun.

Now the flower is radiating her full magnificence – adorning the rosebush with her fragrance, colour, tenderness, and meekness; nurturing the bees, and giving home to tired butterflies. She also heals hearts.

The Sun is slowly retiring now.

As it does, the rose too closes her petals. The bees fall silent, the butterflies take a rest, and the rosebush drifts off to sleep. At night, the bright Moon and the Stars are bathing her in silvery light. Even in her sleep, she is emanating her softness and beauty.

Embrace this rose in your heart, then tell her goodbye. Start coming back slowly.

Take 2-3 deep breaths, start moving your toes, feet, ankles, knees and legs, then your fingers, hands, wrists, your shoulders and neck. When it feels comfortable and you are ready, come back to the room, with the rose in your heart.
